Program 02

We offer many different activities to introduce children to the hope they can find in Jesus. By showing our love for them, we want them to come to know how much God loves them.

Children racing through an outdoor game at a summer Bible camp

A wonderful example of our Children’s Outreach Program is the ministry of Deanna in Bărzoaiele, just outside Bucharest. Most months she holds what Christians in the US would call a Vacation Bible School. In the summer she runs a camp and special outings for the kids. Deanna arranges gifts at the beginning of the school year to help with supplies, and again at Christmas. She also reaches out with help to young mothers in the village who need emergency relief.

Another important part of the program is the work of Chris Giulica. He also sets up camps for kids, but his primary focus is sharing the gospel of Jesus with Roma (Romi) children — a special group with a great need for the love and hope of God, and unique challenges in reaching them.

Children are the ones most severely affected by extreme poverty and often unhealthy living conditions — not only physically, but emotionally and spiritually. Thankfully, they are also often the most open to the love and grace of Christ, and we want every child to have the opportunity to know God’s incredible love for them.

These children are often the ones most open to the love and grace of Christ.
